Vickie Shaw

Last night J and I watched comedian Vickie Shaw for the first time; she was hysterical. Here is a clip about late-in-life lesbians. Vickie is featured at the very beginning, and then she and her partner and her kids are featured at the very end. Most of what she says and experienced is EXACTLY like I would describe myself and my feelings. This video has a great part about why commitment ceremonies are so important. I have never felt that I "needed" one to be happy, but I am sooo glad that we are going to have one! It will be the most amazing feeling to stand up and say outloud how I feel and have always felt about J.
