Happy New Year!

J is sooo sweet. She doesn't want me to have to stand in line at the grocery store today. I offered to make her a special meal and her favorite dip to have with champagne tonight, but she just told me, no, she would rather I just made egg in a nests and we can have chips and salsa since we already have them. She doesn't seem to understand that I WANT to stand in line to get the things I need, but I guess I just want everything to be perfect for our first New Year's Eve together, and she says all she wants is me. Sniff sniff.
